I would like to share why I became a sponsor and trustee for the Lilly Foundation.

 

On the 10th January 2017 my eldest daughter went into labour on her due day. Sadly our beautiful Noah was still born.

​

We all struggled with this very sad event and decided as a way of keeping our darling Noah's memory alive that we would sponsor a child in his name.

​

It was very important to us all that we were able to see where the money was going.

​

Lily for the Congo was the only charity that I could find, where I was sure that all the money that I sending was going to pay to support that child.

​

After hearing that our wonderful founders were needing to take a back seat, I immediately put myself forward to help.

​

The thought of being able to help both the young boy that I sponsor in my Grandsons memory, and many more children has helped me tremendously with the grief that you feel when you lose a child.
