Lily for the Congo provide hope for vulnerable and orphaned children in a small community in

The Democratic Republic of Congo in Africa.

We achieve this through our child sponsorship program to provide education, housing and support to the most vulnerable children who have lost one or both parents.

Lily are small and run entirely by unpaid volunteers, which means that every penny of your sponsorship goes to the children.

THERE ARE NO DEDUCTIONS.  This is a simple, direct and effective way to share resources between our communities.

We don't produce expensive marketing materials and all overheads come from UK Government Gift Aid.

We are in daily contact with the community and we are able to send photos and updates between ourselves and our community in Congo.

Conflict and endemic disease  have resulted in 4 million Congolese children losing one or both parents. The harsh reality is that these children cannot afford an education, and often go to bed hungry.

We can’t help them all, but with your sponsorship can help change this, one child at a time.

A monthly donation  of £25 to £30 transforms the life of a child, bringing hope and securing their future.

The primary focus is their education and ideally children are supported until 18, or longer, depending on when they finish basic education.

Sponsorship also covers the rents we pay for housing the children, food and basic medical supplies.

Any amount you give, no matter how small, will be used without deductions to improve the life of a child in The Congo – new clothes, school books, or even toys where children have none.

Alternatively a small  lump sum can help towards our objective of building a more self-sustaining community

     Thank you!

We know that child sponsorship only goes part of the way towards helping others. Ideally we want to help our community in Congo to help themselves.

A corporate gift will help

us develop a sustainable , community, including growing our own food; buying our own school & accommodation

buildings; perhaps one day a medical centre. With your support, all these are achievable

Please choose us as your charity of the year.
